Owner and founder of Gold Standard Physiotherapy, Daniel Negro is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He has over 15 years of clinical experience, completing his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University. Daniel’s experience includes outpatient orthopedic practice in Canada and the United States, where he has completed many continuing education courses in the areas of manual therapy, functional exercise, sports medicine, acupuncture and dry needling. In addition to treating patients, he is a member of the Discipline Committee of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Due to Daniel’s involvement in Japanese Jiu Jitsu for the past 30 years, he has a special understanding of martial arts injuries, along with athletic injuries in general. He is the Physiotherapist for the Canadian Japanese Jiu Jitsu Alliance, Greater Toronto Jiu Jitsu, and RIZE Mixed Martial Arts.
